Allegheny Raw Materials was established in 2003 to provide a ferrous
scrap blend to a local steel mill concentrating in specialty grades of
steel. These blends offered an economical alternative to their normal
scrap charge. Development of on-site processing, blending, analytical,
and optimization facilities has allowed ARM to expand beyond carbon
scrap blends and into the field of alloy and stainless steel blending.
In 2006, Allegheny Raw Materials merged with T.A.C.E. Consulting,
expanding our services to over two dozen consumers by supplying scrap
from various sources and suppliers throughout the United States and
Canada.
The continual success of Allegheny Raw Materials is
